2015 DT Proxy Qualifiers

Entry guidelines

Anyone is allowed to enter

Participants may enter up to two cars per team/person

$10 entry fee with submission includes the cost of return shipping. (per team)

Concours d’Elegance

Every car submitted will be considered as an entry for the concourse unless otherwise noted by participant.

Car builders are encourage to customize, keeping in mind the theme of a classic road rally pre 1970.

1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes will be awarded by a panel of judges to the best looking and unique cars.

Pre race

All cars will be visually inspected to see if they follow the proxy car build rules.

In case of a DQ that team will be notified.

All cars are expected to run upon arrival. 5 minutes will be allowed per car pre race for repair if car is malfunctioning due to shipping, etc.

Teams are allowed to send parts with car i.e. extra tires, guide pin, etc. No parts will be provided by race control.

Each car will be run for a 1 minute warm-up by driver before scoring starts.

All cars will make a 2 minute qualifying run. The fastest car from each team will be selected to run in the proxy race. One car teams would automatically qualify but will still have to make qualifying run.

All cars will be run using a 120 Ohm Brp Nitro controller.

Each car will be driven by the same person (Track owner).

There will be 2 marshals present to assist in retrieving deslots.

The winner will be the car that has the highest lap and section total in the allotted amount of time.

Each Qualifying car will run 5 heats. 2 mins each

If a car does not complete the total time allotted then it’s totals will be given for where it stopped.

In the event of a tie each car will be awarded evenly.

Results will be announced by end of July 2018.
